transposon tagging: Транспозонное мечение — метод локализации последовательностей ДНК в сложном геноме путем встраивания транспозона (напр., Р-элемент) в клонированный ген. Полученная конструкция затем используется для трансформации организма. Там она интегрирует в хромосому путем гомологичной рекомбинации. ДНК-мишень может быть идентифицирована с помощью гибридизации рестрикцированной геномной ДНК с радиоактивно меченным зондом, идентичным или частично идентичным использованному транспозону (см. Генов мечение), а также методом ПЦР.
